“As my sweetheart always puts it: I’m a true Tyrolean host<\/strong>“, smiles Michaela Lechthaler, the warm-hearted hotel director<\/a> at the NIDUM Casual Luxury Hotel in M\u00f6sern. Her sweetheart is Maximilian Pinzger, the owner of the property<\/strong>. The 31-year-old Vinschgauer pulls the strings in the background. He\u2019s responsible for the philosophy of the hotel and leaves the stage for Michaela. “I love being in contact with the guests and our employees. I want to offer our<\/strong><\/em> guests the perfect holiday<\/em><\/strong>“<\/em>, says Michaela Lechthaler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Nidum,<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Since she’s been 23 years old the Tyrolean has been holding managing positions in the hotel industry<\/strong>. “My heart beats for the art of hosting. That’s what I live for\u201d, says Michaela. In 2016 she moved back to her home town \u2013 and became the director of NIDUM Casual Luxury Hotel in the Olympiaregion of Seefeld. The South-Tyrolean Maximilian Pinzger<\/strong> had bought a hotel in M\u00f6sern, rebuilt it and came up with a completely new hotel concept in just two months<\/strong>. “<\/em>I have always missed the ease, the fun <\/em><\/strong>factor and the freedom in the upscale hotel industry<\/strong>. At NIDUM we offer our guests ‘Casual Luxury<\/strong>‘ \u2013 the highest quality without being stiff<\/strong>“<\/em>, Maximilian Pinzger explains. Whether it\u2019s the architecture, the cuisine<\/a> or wellness \u2013 everything is of the finest quality but at the same time breathes an air of casual informality. The only strict rule in the house is the ban on ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maximilian Pinzger grew up in the hotel industry<\/strong>. His grandmother ran a pub in Schlanders. His father, a former senator in Rome and the current president of the South Tyrolean Hotel and Restaurant Association, turned it into a hotel. Maximilian graduated from the prestigious hotel school in Merano, took up political science studies in Innsbruck and then switched back to the hotel industry. He was responsible for the rebuilding and reorientation of the family business<\/strong> before he realized his dream with the NIDUM Casual Luxury Hotel. And this dream of a hotel is extremely well received by the guests. “We have many regulars who come to us to switch off, take a deep breath and fill up their batteries<\/strong>. Our hotel is a place to enjoy. Many guests grab a book from our library and spend hours sitting by the fireplace. That’s true luxury<\/em>“, says Michaela Lechthaler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Nidum,<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

High above the rooftops of the Inn Valley, the hotel sits enthroned like a nest<\/strong> (Nidum means \u201cnest\u201d in Latin) on the mountainside and offers spectacular views<\/strong>. The rooms, all facing the sunny south, are furnished with designer wooden furniture and interior<\/a> in soft natural tones. The huge window fronts elegantly leave the stage to the true star \u2013 the wonderful nature<\/strong>. Right behind the house lies the forest and thus access to countless cross-country ski trails in all levels of difficulty, the nearest ski resort can be reached in a few minutes by ski bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have done a good job, when our guests leave feeling all relaxed and satisfied – and when they come back<\/em><\/strong>,” says Michaela Lechthalter with a smile. You can easily sense with how much passion the two hosts live the “Casual Luxury” in their hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
